Rural Youth Tasmania is proud to announce the celebration of its 75th Anniversary, marking three-quarters of a century of empowering young Tasmanians in rural communities. This milestone is a tribute to the thousands of members—past and present—who have shaped the organisation into the vibrant, community-driven force it is today.
To commemorate this special occasion, Rural Youth warmly invites all former and current members to join in a series of celebratory events on 5 July with an Afternoon Tea and Dinner. It’s a time to reconnect with old friends, share stories, and reflect on the organisation’s enduring legacy and the positive impact it has made across Tasmania’s rural landscape.
“This anniversary is not just a celebration of our history, but of the people who have made Rural Youth what it is,” said Amber Bramich, State President of Rural Youth Tasmania. “I’m incredibly proud to lead such a strong and resilient organisation—one that has thrived for 75 years thanks to the dedication and passion of our volunteers. I look forward to meeting members from across the generations and celebrating everything we’ve achieved together.”
The 75th Anniversary celebrations will highlight the progress Rural Youth has made in supporting leadership, community service, and rural development. It’s a chance to honour the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future filled with opportunity and growth.
