Rural Youth Members Recognised at Meander Valley Council Awards
Rural Youth members were proudly recognised at the recent Meander Valley Council Awards for their leadership and community impact.

Matthew Wadley was named Young Citizen of the Year, acknowledging his outstanding contribution to the local community and the positive impact of his leadership and service.
On the same evening, Rory Eaton, Jessica Richards, Matthew Wadley and Jesse MacDonald accepted a council award on behalf of Hagley Rural Youth, recognising the club’s ongoing commitment to community involvement and grassroots leadership across the region.
These achievements are a fantastic reflection of the passion, generosity, and drive shown by Rural Youth members across Tasmania. Congratulations to Matthew, and the Hagley Rural Youth community on this well-deserved recognition.
